Applicant is responsible to pay any fee the bank may charge for the international transfer; this is in excess of the registration fee and it must be paid separately.(approx. 2,500 JPY)

*2: Students general participation but banquet, technical tour and conference tour are not included
*3: Retirees class applicants should be limited to the persons who served as one of the members of ICALEPCS International Scientific Advisory Committees or ICALEPCS Program Committees before.
*4: One-day registration allows you one-day attendance to the scientific programs through Mon 12 to Fri 16 but conference bag, abstract booklet, CD-ROM etc. are not included. No social events (banquet, tours etc.) are included as well.

Registered participants are qualified:

  • Attendance at all conference events.
  • Conference documents such as the conference guide and abstract book
    (not for Accompanying person)
  • CD-ROM of the proceedings upon a request
    (not for Accompanying person)
  • Some social programs (only Accompanying person)
not include:
  • Registration fee for satellite meetings.
    An additional cost of 3,000 JPY is required for participation of each pre-conference meeting.
Cancellation policy:
  • Cancel requests must be submitted by August 15 (Sat).
  • All bank handling charges must be paid by the participant.
  • No refund for cancellation after August 15 (Sat).

Payment of Registration Fees

We accept bank transfer payment by September 30th (Wed). After September 30th (Wed) please use credit card payment.
  • By credit card
    Visa, Master Card and American Express credit cards are accepted. Please input information of your credit card on the registration Web site.
  • By bank transfer
    ?Please note that all bank transfer charges must be paid by applicants. (approx. 2,500JPY).
    Bank account details will be sent to you by e-mail after completion of on-line registration.
    When arranging a bank transfer, the following information is required to fill out on the remittance form:
    Registration number (issued after completion of on-line registration) and participant's name in the message field.
    If payment is made for more than one person or by a company, please make sure that all participants' names or registration numbers are indicated. 
    Participants are also requested to send a copy of the bank remittance receipt to the conference secretariat by email or by Fax.

Financial support for PIEN

The Local Organizing Committee of ICALEPCS2009 supports up to fifteen (15) scientists from the Industrially Emerging Nations (IEN), especially Asian region, in order to encourage them to participate to the conference.

1. Registration fee
 Registration fee of 50% is supported.
2. Financial support
 The cost of accommodation or travel is supported up to 60,000JPY.
3. Accommodation
 Inexpensive hotels or guesthouses will be informed upon request.

Participants should submit their abstract first, and their application for financial support should be endorsed by the head of their research institutes or one of the members of ICALEPCS International Scientific Advisory Committee. The application should be faxed, or sent by an e-mail with a digitally copied (PDF etc.) file, to the ICALEPCS2009 secretariat.
The application form should include applicant's name, affiliation, abstract ID number, abstract title, address, e-mail account and telephone & FAX numbers.

The application should be sent during the dates indicated in the "Important Dates" on this Web page. Applications will be treated on a "first-come, first served" base. The results of application will be informed to the applicants hopefully in the middle of July.
