Request for sponsorship of ICALEPCS 2009

Thank you very much for supporting our mission to develop technologies for control/networks and the data acquisition in large facilities including those with accelerators for synchrotrons, nuclear fusion facilities, and facilities for space/astronomy-related research.

We are writing to inform you that we will be holding the 12th International Conference on Accelerator and Large Experimental Physics Control Systems 2009 (ICALEPCS 2009), co-organized by RIKEN and Japan Synchrotron Radiation Research Institute (JASRI), at the Kobe International Conference Center (Kobe, Hyogo) from October 12 (Mon) to 16 (Fri), 2009.

ICALEPCS is an international conference focusing on the control systems of large experimental physics facilities such as accelerators, and participants include researchers and engineers of various disciplines from nuclear fusion to space/astronomy-related research.  In recent years, more than 400 researchers have participated in this conference, and three regions, Europe, the U.S., and Asia, take it in turn to provide a forum to discuss and exchange information about cutting-edge control technology every two years. ICALEPCS 2009 is held in Kobe because Kobe is an international city, it is estimated that considerably more than 300 people will participate from both Japan and abroad.  Therefore, we would like you to take full advantage of this great opportunity to exchange information and opinions with researchers and engineers engaged in technologies related to control systems in large facilities, including accelerators, and to discuss future developments.  (A summary of this conference is given on the following pages.)

ICALEPCS2009 offers a variety of sponsorship opportunities for vendors in order to meet industrial requirements. For the details on sponsorship, please feel free to contact the conference secretariat below. If you apply for sponsorship, please obtain and fill in the“Vendor Exhibition Registration Form,” and return it as an attached file by E-mail or fax.
